Space Gear is a blog that reports on news and general information about spaceflight/exploration both manned and unmanned and anything related to space itself. It adopts the cynical and humorous nature of BBC’s Top Gear as its form of reporting, and attempts to simplify the fundamentals of spaceflight to be understood by a general audience. The blog is mostly dependent on news and user generated content rounded up by one user. As such an email is being set up for any submitted content anybody wishes to share in the future.

About the Writer:

Once upon a time, a Canadian kid went on a trip to Florida and went to the Kennedy Space Centre. He didn’t care the slightest for space, even though he saw a space shuttle on the launch pad and many other things. Then he went home and wikipedia’d everything he saw and suddenly became hooked. SpaceStig is now a die-hard NASA addict, and loves anything to do with space. As such, this blog was started to inform others of the wonders and joys of space.
